Christmas tree and the first snows of the season

Good morning all.

Snow is falling at higher elevations in Yuzawa town this morning and there is a real feeling of winter fast approaching. NASPA Ski Garden plans to open from Friday 20th December.

If you visit NASPA right now, as you enter the hotel you can't help but notice the beautiful 7m tall Christmas tree on display in the Garden Lounge on the Lobby Floor. Photos don't do it justice!

Autumn Update & Currency Exchange Machine

The weather has been somewhat unsettled during October, but hopefully the next few weeks will bring fine and settled weather so that we can enjoy the lovely autumn foliage. It is a beautiful time of the year and usually late October through the middle of November is the peak period for Yuzawa.

In order to help our guests from overseas, a new currency exchange machine has been installed at the hotel. It is located on the main Lobby Floor, between the Front Desk and Shop NASPA and supports 12 different world currencies.

After a hot summer, daytime temperatures are now on the way down and evenings are becoming noticeably cooler.

Autumn is always a lovely time to be here in Yuzawa with comfortable temperatures as well as stunning natural scenery. Look out for the beautiful colourful autumn leaves in the Yuzawa region from October through November.

New shuttle bus timetables have been added to the site for the autumn months:

Of course, beyond autumn there is also the snow season to look forward to. This year NASPA Ski Garden plans to open on Friday 20th December.

Exciting news!

The 2019-2020 winter season is six months away but from today our winter season plans are available.

This year we once again offer a good choice of packages to suit various needs.

You can choose from packages including a top grade restaurant dinner in the hotel, or just a room charge. There are even plans that include ski and wear rental so you can just turn up without needing to bring your own gear!

All of the new plans include unlimited skiing at NASPA Ski Garden.

Here we are in February already!

After a very snowy month of January we have had a somewhat milder start to February, but the snow is back today with more forecast in the coming week.

News of a current special limited time offer at NASPA New Otani:

A 1,000 yen voucher present is available for bookings made on the official website for a Junior Suite Room on weekdays until 31st March 2019. The voucher can be spent at facilities within the hotel.
